The short answer is yes we would recommend Downtown Accommodations for management of your property.  Margaret has been taking care of our apartment since August of 1999.
 1) Downtown Accommodations has been quite communicative over the time we've known them.  They send us monthly statements, and inform us of any event that comes to their attention.  They have always responded to emails, and phone calls promptly, and are in general very professional.  Over the years they have replaced many items in our suite to update it, and each time have notified us that the item needed replacing, they have sought good values, and have always seemed to have our interest at heart.
2) The firm has never missed a payment.  
3) and 4) Our unit has been rented approximately 90% of the time over the past 11 years, and that's 100% due to Margaret's hard work and effort in renting our unit.  We have never been able to reserve our unit, and have never stayed there since we bought it, because it has been so booked.  Both my wife and I feel that we would rather have it rented for a month than empty for 3 weeks or more so we could stay in it.  As a matter of fact, we will be staying in it in 2 weeks, for the first time in 11 years...We have never had it vacant, even for a weekend during the summer.  What little vacancy we have had has been in Winter.
