Downtown Suites Ltd. furnishes every residence with all the items needed for a comfortable and trouble-free stay. Our prices include:

  • Furnishings and appliances
  • Linens and towels
  • Dishes, crockery, cutlery, etc.
  • WiFi, cable TV, and utilities
  • TV, DVD player
  • Full kitchen and bathroom facilities
  • In-suite or in-building laundry facilities
  • Access to pool, hot tub, gym, etc. (if available)
  • Parking (if available)

Is there a minimum length of stay?

Our minimum length of stay is one month. (However for Kitsilano Garden Suites the length of stay may be under one month.)

How do I make a reservation?

How is my booking confirmed?

Simply sending us an email request does not guarantee the suite will be available to you. Your booking will be confirmed when you receive an email confirmation from Downtown Accommodations.

Is a deposit required?

To book a suite, we require a valid Visa or Mastercard number and expiry date to hold on file. In addition to this, we also require a refundable deposit to guarantee your reservation. The deposit is between  $800 and $1500 depending on the suite booked. This money is refunded less the cost of the move out clean, after you vacate the suite and it has been determined there is no loss or damage to the suite

What is the cancellation policy?

We require one months notice to cancel in order to receive a full refund of the $700 booking deposit.

If we do not receive notice of cancellation within these time frames there will be no refund.

How do I pay?

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. We accept cash, travellers cheques, Visa, and Mastercard.

Are there any Taxes?

All stays are a one month minimum and there is no tax on stays of one month or more. Tax for short term stays of less than one month (at Kitsilano Garden Suites only) is 15% ( 2% Municipal, 5% GST & 8% PST).

How do I check in?

Keys are available Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Key collection location and check in details will be provided upon confirmation of your booking. Key collection can be made outside business hours by prior arrangement.

What is check in / check out time?

Guaranteed check-in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am.

Do your apartments have internet?

Yes, all of our suites now have access to the internet.

Are pets welcome?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer accommodation for your pets.

Is smoking allowed?

We provide a healthy smoke-free environment in all of our suites. However, smoking is permitted on balconies.

Are there any extra fees?

If one cancels their reservation a credit card fee of up to $50 will be deducted from the booking deposit refund.  Also, housekeeping if required is extra at a cost of $35 per hour.
