What is included in my apartment?

Downtown Suites Ltd. furnishes every residence with all the items needed for a comfortable and trouble-free stay. Our prices include:

  • Furnishings and appliances
  • Linens and towels
  • Dishes, crockery, cutlery, etc.
  • Local telephone calls, internet, cable television service, and utilities
  • TV, DVD, and CD stereo
  • Full kitchen and bathroom facilities
  • In-suite or in-building laundry facilities
  • Access to pool, hot tub, gym, etc. (if available)
  • Parking (if available)

Is there a minimum length of stay?

Our minimum length of stay is 30 days.

How do I make a reservation?

Simply contact us at 604-694-8806, toll free at 1-877-454-8179, or email us at info@downtownsuites.com.

How is my booking confirmed?

Simply sending us an email request does not guarantee the suite will be available to you. Your booking will be confirmed when you receive an email from Downtown Accommodations.

Is a deposit required?

To book a suite, we require a valid Visa or Mastercard number and expiry date to hold on file. In addition to this, we also require a refundable deposit to guarantee your reservation. The deposit is $500.00. This money is refundable upon your departure providing the suite is left in the same condition as when you arrived.

What is the cancellation policy?

We require 21 days notice to cancel in order to receive a full refund of the $500 booking deposit.

If we do not receive notice of cancellation within these time frames there will be no refund.

How do I pay?

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. We accept cash, travellers cheques, Visa, and Mastercard.

Are there any Taxes?

For stays less than 32 days GST tax of 5%, Provincial Hotel Tax 8% and Municipal Hotel Tax of 2% = 15% total taxes payable.

For stays of 32-62 days only Municipal Hotel Tax of 2% is payable.

For stays 63 days or more there is no tax payable.

How do I check in?

Keys are available Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Key collection location and check in details will be provided upon confirmation of your booking. Key collection can be made outside business hours by prior arrangement.

What is check in / check out time?

Guaranteed check-in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am.

Do your apartments have internet?

Yes, all of our suites now have access to the internet.

Are pets welcome?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer accommodation for your pets.

Is smoking allowed?

We provide a healthy smoke-free environment in all of our suites. However, smoking is permitted on balconies.

Are there any extra fees?

Yes, a processing fee will be deducted from your booking deposit. $20.00 will be deducted from the $500.00 booking deposit.
